Bargłowa Glade
Bargłowa Glade – a glade on the southern slopes of Groń Jana Pawła II in the Mały Beskid Mountains. It is a former shepherd’s pasture, now abandoned and gradually overgrown with forest. In 1932, it was purchased by the Polish Tatra Society from a resident of Targoszów named Bargiel. A tourist shelter was built there that same year. It is currently the PTTK Leskowiec Shelter.
From the glade, a wide view of the Żywiec-Orawa Beskid Mountains, the Makowski Beskid Mountains, and the Tatra Mountains opens out to the south.
The glade below the shelter is where the blue-marked Wadowice-Mucharz hiking trail, the green-marked Andrychów-Świnna Poręba hiking trail, the yellow-marked Targoszów Wieczorki-Czartak hiking trail, and the black-marked Rzyki-PTTK Leskowiec hiking trail intersect. The Little Beskid Trail Bielsko-Biała – Luboń Wielki, marked in red, runs through the southern part of the glade.
