Demänovské Sedlo Pass
Demänovské sedlo – a mountain pass located at an altitude of 1,756 m above sea level in the Low Tatras in Slovakia. It is located on the main ridge, between the peaks of Konské (1,875 meters above sea level) and Krúpova hoľa (1,922 meters above sea level). A gentle, grassy depression descends to the southwest, into the Bystrá Valley, through the bottom of which a seasonal stream flows. The northern slopes descend to the upper part of the Široká Valley.
The pass area is grassy. It offers views of the Tatras, the Choč Mountains, the Oravská Magura, the Żywiec-Orava Beskids, the Malá Fatra, the Poľana, and the Veporské vrchy Mountains.
The red tourist trail Cesta hrdinov SNP leads through the pass and the yellow tourist trail ATC Bystrina – Demänovské sedlo branches off to the north.
