Kończysty Wierch

Kończysty Wierch – a peak at an altitude of 2002 m a.s.l. in the Western Tatra Mountains. It is located in the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains on the Polish-Slovak border. To the southwest, it borders Jarząbczy Wierch via the Jarząbcza Pass, and to the southeast, it borders Starorobociańska Wierch via the Starorobociańska Pass. To the north, a side ridge extends, with the peaks of Czubik and Trzydniowiański Wierch, separating the Starorobociańska Valley from the Jarząbcza Valley. To the northeast, steep slopes descend to a small glacial cirque known as Dudowa Kotlina, located in the upper part of the Starorobociańska Valley. The southern slopes descend to the Zadnia Raczkowa Valley.

Konczysty Wierch is composed of crystalline rocks, primarily Roháč granodiorites. The summit is rocky, and the slopes are covered with alpine grass with a distinctive red sedge.

The summit offers views of the Western Tatra Mountains, the High Tatra Mountains, the Low Tatra Mountains, the Żywiec-Orava Beskid Mountains, the Gorce Mountains, the Wyspowy Beskid, and the Sącz Beskid Mountains.

The summit is where the Polish red hiking trail Pyszniańska Przełęcz – Wołowiec, the Polish green hiking trail Trzydniowiański Wierch – Kończysty Wierch, and the Slovak yellow hiking trail Úzka dolina – Kończysty Wierch intersect.
