Sucha Pass

Sucha Pass – a mountain pass at an elevation of 1,950 meters a.s.l., located in the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains between Kasprowy Wierch (1,987 meters) and the Beskid Mountains (2,012 meters). The Polish-Slovak border runs through the pass. The northeastern slopes of the pass descend to the Kasprowy Cirque, while the southwestern slopes descend to the Cicha Valley in Slovakia.

The pass is flat, rocky, and covered with low grassland. It offers views of the Western Tatras, the High Tatras, the Low Tatras, the Gorce Mountains, the Sądecki Beskids, and the Żywiec-Orawa Beskids.

The pass is the intersection of the red-marked Zawrat – Kościeliska Valley hiking trail and the yellow-marked Murowaniec – Kasprowy Wierch Mountain Shelter hiking trail. The yellow tourist trail Podbanské – Kasprowy Wierch leads to Slovakia.
