Region: Dynów Foothills

Dynów Foothills – a physical and geographic mesoregion in southern Poland, bordered to the west by the Strzyżów Foothills, and to the east by the Przemyśl Foothills. The highest hill is Sucha Góra (591 m a.s.l.). The Dynów Foothills have rich natural, landscape, recreational and spa values. The landscape is formed by piedmont areas with large forest complexes. The dominant plant community is the submontane form of the Carpathian beech forest. In its stand, next to beech, there are quite numerous fir, spruce, sycamore and mountain elm. The presence of plants such as: common squill and gold-headed lily is especially valuable. Here you can observe unique habitats of beaver, badger, lesser spotted eagle, black stork, raven and toad.
