Świętokrzyskie Mountains – a mountain range located in central Poland in the Kielce Upland, one of the oldest mountain ranges in Europe.
The landscape of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains is characterized by long and parallel mountain ranges with a gentle ridge line, flat and wide valleys with swift rivers flowing. The Łysogóry Range is covered by the Fir Forest, dominated by fir with an admixture of spruce, pine, beech, oak, birch, larch and alder.
The highest peaks are Łysica (614 m a.s.l., the Łysogóry Range), Szczytniak (554 m a.s.l., the Jeleniowskie Range), Bukowa Góra (482 m a.s.l., the Klonowskie Range), Klonówka (473 m a.s.l., the Masłowskie Range), Kiełków (452 m a.s.l., the Pasmo Orłowińskie).
