Tag - Bieliczna
Bieliczna – a no longer existing Lemko village in the Low Beskid Mountains at the foot of Lackowa Mountain. It was located in the Biała River valley, currently its area is part of the village of Izby. It was founded in 1595. The inhabitants were forcibly evicted in 1947 as part of the “Vistula” campaign. The buildings were demolished by local residents, only the Greek Catholic Church of St. Michael the Archangel built around 1796 and the old Lemko cemetery remained.
