Tag - Głowniak Mountain

Głowniak Mountain – a peak at 1093 m a.s.l. in the Żywiec-Orawa Beskid Mountains. It is located in the western part of the Polica Range, between Piekielnicka Peak to the north and Sychlec Peak to the south. The eastern slopes descend to Czarny Potok, and the western slopes to Potok Jaworzynka.

The peak is covered with an upper montane spruce forest, and its western slopes lie within the Babia Góra National Park.

Remnants of trenches from World War II are still visible along the path between the pass separating Głowniak and Sychlec.

No hiking trails run through the peak. The red-marked Main Beskid Trail traverses it from the east.
