Tag - Hala Młyńska

Hala Młyńska – a large glade in the Gorce Mountains, located on the southern and eastern slopes of Kiczora and the southern slopes of Jaworzyna Kamienicka.

This former shepherd’s pasture is now overgrown with forest. It is located within the Gorce National Park. High-altitude plants such as the mountain avens, the single-headed sagebrush, and the Carpathian snowberry grow here.

The Hala Młyńska offers distant views of the Sącz Beskid Mountains, the Magura Spiska Mountains, the Pieniny Mountains, and the Tatra Mountains.

The pasture is crossed by the red-marked Main Beskid Trail, the green-marked “From Turbacz to Jaworzyna Kamienicka” educational trail, and the red-marked Ochotnica Górna – Kiczora hiking trail.
