Tag - Rówień Waksmundzka
Rówień Waksmundzka – a wide and grassy plain located at an altitude of 1400–1440 m a.s.l. on the Waksmundzka Pass between Mała Koszysta and Gęsia Szyja mountains. The border between the High Tatras and the Subalpine Tatras runs through the plain. In the past, the glade and the adjacent easement forests belonged to the pastoral areas of the Waksmundzka Glade. After it was no longer used, the clearing is overgrown with forest.
The valleys below the pass are the Waksmundzka Valley (to the east) and the Pańszczyca Valley (to the west). The watershed between the Białka and Biały Dunajec river basins runs through the Waksmundzka Rówień. To the east of the plain, there is a view of the Bielskie Tatras.
