Tag - Suchy Groń

Suchy Groń – a peak at 868 m a.s.l. in the Żywiec-Orawa Beskid Mountains. It is located on a side ridge extending from Romanka Mountain to Skała Mountain. It borders Skała to the north and Romanka to the southeast. The northeastern slopes descend to the Sopotnianka Stream, and the southwestern slopes descend to the Romanka Stream.

The summit is exposed, offering views of the Lipowski Wierch and Romanka Group, the Mały Beskid Mountains, the Silesian Beskids, and beyond it the Moravian-Silesian Beskids. The northeastern slopes are forested, while the southern slopes are occupied by fields and buildings in the Płone hamlet in Żabnica.

The red-marked Main Beskid Trail and the blue-marked Żywiec-Bystra Górna hiking trail run near the summit.
