Kopylec Mountain

Kopylec Mountain (Holowiec Mountain) – a peak at 1,035 meters above sea level, located on the main ridge of the Magura Spiska Mountains. To the north, a ridge branches off, descending into the Łapszanka Stream valley in the village of Łapsze Wyżne. To the north, it borders Dudasowski Wierch, to the east Pieskowy Wierch, and its western slopes descend to the Łapszanka Pass. To the south, on the Slovak side, a stream flows from under Kopylec, containing the Wielkie Osturniańskie Lake.

The peak is forested, but just below the summit, there are fields and pastures, offering a wide view of the Tatra Mountains.

The yellow Falsztyn-Magurka hiking trail traverses the peak from the north, and the blue Brzeźnica-Kacwin hiking trail traverses the peak from the south.
