Tag - Cisowa Pass

Cisowa Pass – a pass at an altitude of 797 m a.s.l. in the Mały Beskid Mountains. It is located in a side ridge extending from Wielka Cisowa Grapa Mountain and descending through Jaworzyna Mountain to Żywiec Lake. It separates Jaworzyna (861 m a.s.l.) in the south-west from the Maleckie peak (845 m a.s.l.) in the north. The western slopes descend to the Isepnica River and the eastern slopes descend to the Kocierzanka River.

The area of ​​the pass is covered with a mixed forest. On the eastern slopes there is the Szeroka Nature Reserve in the Mały Beskid Mountains. The reserve protects the lower montane remnants of the natural Carpathian forest with monumental specimens of firs and beeches.

The blue tourist trail Bielsko-Biała, Lipnik – Przełęcz Przysłop Cisowy leads through the pass.
