Malý Kriváň – a peak with a height of 1671 m a.s.l. in the Little Fatra Mountains in Slovakia. It is the second highest peak in this mountain range after Veľký Kriváň. The massif of Malý Kriváň rises in the main ridge of the so-called Krivánska Fatra. From the west, through a shallow pass, it borders the peak of Priehyb, from the north-east it borders the peak of Koniarky, from the south there is a short ridge ending with the peak of Mojský grúň and the northern slopes descend steeply to Belianska Valley.

The main ridge of the Little Fatra Mountains within Malý Kriváň is clearly bulging towards the south-east. Four ridges branch off from it: the north-eastern section of the main ridge through Koniarky and Pekelník to Veľký Kriváň, the south-eastern with the Mojský grúň peak, the southern with the Meškalka, Ostredok and Veľká Kráľová peaks, the western to the Priehyb saddle, behind which it branches into two ridges. From the peak, there are distant views of the Little Fatra Mountains, the Żywiec-Kysuce Beskids, the Żywiec-Orawa Beskids, the Orava Magura, the Tatras, the Low Tatras, the Great Fatra Moutains, the Javorníky and the Silesian-Moravian Beskids.

The peak of Malá Kriváň is extensive, flat and stony-grassy. The slopes in the upper part are grassy, separated only by low rocky ridges, steep and avalanche-prone. On the slopes of Malý Kriváň, there are all levels of mountain vegetation. The lower montane forest grows to an altitude of about 1200 m above sea level, then passes into the upper montane spruce forest, which grows to an altitude of about 1300-1350 m. The dwarf pine level on the northern slopes reaches to about 1600 m above sea level, on the southern slopes it passes into the alpine level much lower, at an altitude of about 1400-1500 m above sea level.

There are several caves in the Malý Kriváň massif. Priepasť v Malom Fatranskom Kriváni is about 60 m deep. The cave, the opening of which is located at an altitude of about 1620 m above sea level, has the character of a crevice, narrowing downwards, with several intermediate faults.

Malý Kriváň is located in the Malý Fatra National Park. The northern slopes of the massif include the Prípor Nature Reserve.
