Summer hike in the Western Tatra Mountains. We start at Siwa Glade at the mouth of the Chochołowska Valley. We hike up the Siwa Woda Stream, which at the mouth of the Koryciańska Siklawa Stream changes into Chochołowski Stream. A little further we pass through the vast and scenic Huciańska Glade. Then the valley narrows into a tight ravine and we pass through rock gates called Niżnia Brama Chochołowska. The valley widens a little to narrow again into another rock gate called Wyżnia Brama Chochołowska. Behind the gates the valley forks into 3 branches and we follow the yellow trail to the Starorobociańsia Valley. At the tributary of the Iwaniacki Stream we turn left and enter the scenic Iwaniacka Valley, which we use to ascend Iwaniacka Pass.
